David J. Rosengrant, 35, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he is a son of Daniel J. and Judy Mugford Rosengrant and was a 1999 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre.

He worked for several years with St. Michael's School as an educational aide and recently was a foreman with Mrak-U-Less Landscaping.

David enjoyed sports and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed attending his nieces' and nephews' school and sporting events.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ken and Alice Mugford and Jack and Joan Rosengrant, and cousins, Jason Shampack and Kevin Robinson.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Daniel and Judy; sisters, Amy and husband, Donald, Exeter; and Tara Rosengrant, Wilkes-Barre; a twin brother, Daniel Rosengrant and fiancée, Melissa Simon, Plains Township; nieces and nephews, TJ, Talia, Ella and Sam; aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

A celebration of David's life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Daniel J. Hughes Funeral & Cremation Service, 617 Carey Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
