Trisha Rae Childs was born in Sedro-Woolley, September 20, 1976 and passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 22, 2016.

Trisha grew up in Anacortes, WA and moved to Nome, Alaska in 1993 and graduated high school. Shortly after she became an advocate for Bering Sea Women's Group.

Trisha continued to live in Nome, Alaska until 1999 and moved back to Anacortes to continue working as an advocate for battered women in Mount Vernon, WA. Trisha loved making a difference and standing up for what was right.

She had many hobbies and was very artistic. She loved beading, making jewelry, and making Aroma Therapy candles. She also sold her Aroma Therapy and jewelry on the side as a hobby.

Trisha was very proud of her Alaskan Native roots and loved her family's lineage history. Trisha also enjoyed walking the loop by West Beach, reading mystery novels, and taking pictures of everything she loved. She loved to travel and experience life. Trisha was a free spirit and loved rock music, she loved to dance and sing like no one was watching. Her children and grandchildren gave her much joy.

Trisha Rae Childs was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dale Childs and brother, Jacob Lee Childs.

Trisha Rae Childs leaves behind three children, Mariah Bucio-Childs, Edward Lockwood and Gavin Bachelor. Mariah and Santiago (Alex) have two daughters Audreyna and Elliana Bucio.

Trisha is survived by her mother, Cindy L'heureux, two brothers, Tyler Daharsh and Robert Carpenter, her grandmother, Audrey Frank, and five aunts, Julie Seidel and Terry Breckenridge, Sarah Jo Clark, Laura Childs and Charmi Olsen. She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 Thursday, November 3, 2016 and Summit Grange, 8716 Stevenson Road, Anacortes.
