- Donnie C. Carathers, age 34, of Nashville, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at his home.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at the Nashville Church of Christ, Nashville, with Jeremiah Scadden officiating. Donnie was born Nov. 2, 1981, in Summit County Ohio and was the son of Don and Vicky (Hanshaw) Carathers. He was a 2000 graduate of Wooster High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Akron. On June 19, 2007 he married Kristi (Good) and she survives. Donnie enjoyed remodeling houses, weightlifting, cooking and listening to music. He loved his kids and enjoyed spending time with family.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Kristi (Good) Carathers are two daughters, Paxton and Peyton Carathers both of the home; a stepson, Tyler Miller; his parents, Don and Vicky Carathers of Wooster; a sister, Terri (Ed) Hurt of Shreve; and a nephew, Logan Hurt.

He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
