The body found by the Trinity River in Salyer near Salyer Bluffs by a fisherman on Dec. 31 has been identified as Amy Lynn Snow, 25, said Jessica Tillinghast, records technician for the Trinity County Sheriff's Office.

An autopsy showed that the death was due to blunt force trauma, consistent with a fall from a great height, Tillinghast said. Foul play was not suspected.

Snow was reported missing Dec. 1 after walking away from her mother's home in Salyer.
