Brian Shaughnessy Fitzpatrick, a resident of Santa Clarita, CA passed away January 12, 2016 at the age of 39. Brian was a loving and devoted husband and father.

An AFA Certified Farrier, he spent nearly 20 years his life devoted to the well-being of horses. He was well regarded by his clients and within the field of farriery. Brian was a skilled horseman, avid fisherman, and enjoyed the adventure and peacefulness of the outdoors. His boisterous demeanor, animated storytelling, and sense of humor brought joy to all he encountered.

He is survived by his wife, Kirsten Ingrid Fitzpatrick, of 14 years and four daughters: Olivia, Alma Mae, Sophia, and Miranda. Brian is dearly and lovingly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Shadow Hills Equestrian Center, 10263 La Canada Way, Shadow Hills, CA 91040.
