Laura Nicole Reynolds, 39, died December 15, 2015 in California. A native of Atlanta, Laura was the daughter of CPAC Reynolds and the late Diane Wilson Reynolds. She attended Christ the King School and Marist High School. Laura graduated from the Lamar Dodd School of Art at The University of Georgia in 1998 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Photography. After college she resided in Atlanta before traveling to Cortona, Italy for an art program during the summer of 2000, and moved to Venice the following year where she interned at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection for two years. During her time in Italy she traveled throughout much of Europe. After returning to Atlanta briefly she moved to Los Angeles in 2006, first working in retail and later as a stylist, embracing her artistic talents. She began her career at Temptu in early 2008 when she helped design their showroom. She was the anchor of Temptu's west coast presence through artistry, education, and sales, earning her the position of Senior Manager of West Coast Sales and Operations. Laura was happiest in the water and learned to surf when she moved to California. She spent her free time gardening, hiking or riding waves - always making new friends in the water or by the sea. Her love of travel took her to exotic places such as Baja, Nicaragua, Barbados and Costa Rica. She didn't know a stranger and forged relationships everywhere she went. Laura is survived by her father, CPAC Reynolds and step-mother, Linda K. Wiant of Atlanta, GA; sister Kelley Reynolds Cargle and husband B. Todd Cargle of O'Fallon, IL (children Tim, Lindsey and Megan); sister Lisa Reynolds Reno and husband G. Jeffrey Reno of Athens, GA; sister Paula Reynolds Rybka, and husband Russell Rybka of Alexandria, VA (children Addison, Carter, and Caroline); uncle Lewis N. Wilson of Macon, GA; first cousin T. Gary Wilson and wife Jennifer R. Wilson of Macon, GA (children Allie, Benjamin and Christian); and cousins in Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina. Laura is remembered as a vivacious, free spirit that loved meeting people, and whose generosity and kindness touched all those around her. A Celebration of Laura's life will be held Monday, December 28th from 6 - 9 pm at Kai Lin Art Gallery, 999 Brady Avenue #7, Atlanta, GA 30318.
