A man wanted in the fatal shooting of another man in Bellevue last month is in police custody.

Police said Joseph Ware, 34, was arrested late Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Grand Slam Market in Madison.

Ware was wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of Billy Ray Plunk, 29, in the parking lot of Plunk's Bellevue apartment complex on July 23.

Ware will be charged with first-degree murder.

The second suspect, 29-year-old Jamal Bekhtyar, was charged with first-degree murder last Friday. He is jailed on $750,000 bond.
