It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Olivia Katherine Barber, 16 of Bay Village on April 13, 2016.
Olivia has touched so many lives with her compassion, kindness and gentle soul. She loved animals, reading, ice skating, swimming, kayaking, spending time with family at Lake Erie and hanging out with friends.
Olivia is survived by her parents, Scott Barber and Sally Barber (MacDonald) of Bay Village and sisters Amelia and Julia; grandmothers Nancy Barber (Parker) and Marilynn MacDonald (Hertler). She is preceded in death by her grandfathers James Barber and Gene MacDonald and her uncle Jeff Barber. She is also survived by her uncle Steve Barber; aunts Nancy and Colleen Barber; Sandra Russell (MacDonald), Sharron Fisher (MacDonald); Susan MacDonald and Shelly MacDonald.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the "Day to Liv" memorial at Key Bank.
Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake OH 44012 on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Bay Presbyterian Church, 25415 Lake Ave., Bay Village, Ohio 44140 on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 6 p.m.
