Ceili Elizabeth Scarlett Duryea, 13, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017. She was a beautiful, outgoing 7th grader who loved to sing, draw, cook, and laugh. She was thoughtful, generous, and kind, and she had the voice of an angel. Her name (pronounced 'Kaylee') means 'celebration', a reminder that we should celebrate her life and the profound impact she had on us during her short time here.
She is survived by her sister, Gillian, 11; her father, Brad; her mother, Misty Malley; her grandparents, Rick and Linda Duryea; her grandmother, Cindy Watkins; and a large, loving extended family.
A visitation service will be held on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Schmidt Funeral Home, 1344 West Grand Parkway South, Katy, TX 77494.
Her memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., at Lakewood Church, 3700 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX, 77027.
