A man missing from Kirrawee has been located deceased.

Leigh Butkovic, 28, was last seen about 7.30am on Thursday, June 8, at a home on President Avenue, Kirrawee.

Police from Sutherland Local Area Command commenced inquiries to locate him.

About 10.25am on Saturday police located the body of Mr Butkovic in bushland at Heathcote.

There are no suspicious circumstances in his death.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
