The coroner today released the name of a Lancaster woman who was stabbed to death.

She was Katrina Barragan, 37, according to coroner's Investigator Kelli Blanchard. An autopsy was pending.

The woman's husband was held for questioning in connection with the stabbing death, according to sheriff's officials. The outcome of the questioning was not available.

The victim now identified as Barragan and the suspect were arguing in the 4200 block of Jonathon Street prior to the stabbing, shortly before midnight Saturday, sheriff's officials reported.

Paramedics rushed Barragan to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, officials said. She had two children.
