Last night Tyla-Jay Tongariro- our beautiful sister, daughter, aunty, friend, moko, cousin passed away in Perth. We as a family would like to take our baby girl home to New Zealand so we can send her off on a proper farewell and take her back to our Marae.

If anyone had known Tyla personally you would know she was the most kindest little free spirit. Loved by many and taken far too soon in her young 19 years of life.

We are asking for the wider community and whanau to help in raising funds to get her and our family back to New Zealand.

As it was so sudden we were not prepared financially for such an event and coming from a family of 10 kids all living here in Australia my parents were not able to cope financially from the one income to prepare for my sisters sudden death.

So I please just ask if anyone help in achieving this for our whanau. Big or small. All contributions will be hugely appreciated by us.

And from the bottom of my heart I thank everyone in advance for your generosity.
