Summary: Petersen and a 13-year-old boy were shot just outside The Jacksonville Landing during an altercation. Police think it's related to the Jan. 4 double shooting at the Art Walk also downtown. Surveillance video shows two groups of young people loitering and having words. Petersen is the first to draw a gun at Tyrik Solomon, who draws his own and shoots him in the head. Several shots were fired, including by Petersen. The other boy was shot in the ankle in the exchange by Solomon
Status: Two days later charged Tyrik Charles Solomon, black male, 18, with carrying a concealed firearm. Ruled justifiable.
