A body found behind a church in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday morning is believed to be that of Ashanti Billie, who disappeared 13 days ago, according to a person familiar with the investigation who spoke on condition of anonymity.

A landscaper discovered the body around 9:30 a.m. behind East Stonewall AME Zion Church off Interstate 85 when he was trimming. The church is about a mile off the interstate.
