Mukilteo, WA – The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office responded to the 3100 block of York Road around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20th, 2017 for reports of multiple gunshots heard by residents in the area.

Arriving Deputies found a deceased 24-year old female inside the front door of a duplex with obvious gunshot wounds. Another adult female and three children were inside the house but were reported to be sleeping at the time of the shooting and were not injured.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the deceased female as 24-year old Alisha M. Canales-McGuire of Concrete, WA. The cause and manner of death was listed as homicidal violence.
