A woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Sunday, township police have confirmed.

The accident happened on Route 513 near Voorhees High School at 11:44 a.m. A Honda CR-V left the road for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree. There was only one person in the vehicle, a woman, a police said. They did not immediately identify her.

On Tuesday morning, Lebanon Township police identified the victim as Kristin A. Kramer, 24, of Lebanon Township.

Kramer was entrapped in the car after the crash and had sustained serious injuries, police said in a news release. Life-saving measures were attempted but Kramer was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police said they located the vehicle in the front yard of 254 County Route 513. A preliminary investigation showed that Kramer's car was traveling north when it went off the right side of the road just past Voorhees Road. The vehicle struck a utility pole and then several trees before rolling over and coming to a rest, police said in the release.

Ann Wilson of Union Township, who said she had been driving behind Kramer's car when the accident occurred, said the driver had appeared "distracted momentarily."
