Our beloved Erik Alan Prinster passed away on November 8, 2017 at St Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He died at the age of 42. Erik was born in Asuncion, Paraguay on June 11, 1975 and came to the United States as a resident in August 1975. At the age of 5 he became a naturalized citizen.
Erik lived life to the fullest and with joy. He had a love for cooking he shared with his mother and they often barbecued together. His hobbies included hunting with his son and father. You'd often find him camping with friends and riding his motorcycle. A great deal of his childhood was spent at the beach where he made many fond memories with his sisters. Humor came easily for him and his quick wit kept his loved ones cheered up and happy. His infectious smile touched many lives and hearts. Friendships came easily to him because he had a big heart and accepted everyone.
He graduated from Mission Viejo High school in California. He was an Eagle Scout. He was naturally athletic and had a passion playing football and wrestling. He attended Salt Lake City Community College and received an Associates Degree. He worked in the Transportation Industry.
He is survived by his children; Erik, Gabriel, Trevor, Harley, Horatio and Tyler. His children were his spark and everyday he mentioned they made him proud. Also by his sisters: Allyson, Lisa, ThuVan and Pamela, his father Paul Jeffrey and mother Angela, as well as his step-mother Allen. He was the grandfather of Brielle his beautiful grand-daughter. He left this earth to return to his heavenly home where he has found peace. The memory of Erik will live on and his family will love him and miss him always.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
