Officials have identified two men who were shot dead in a vehicle Friday night on the city's West side.

Rickey Gray, 39, of Strongsville, and Steven Sopko, 29, of Cleveland, were killed in the shooting that happened about 7:30 p.m. on West 45th street in the city's Clark-Fulton neighborhood, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office and police.

Gray and Sopko were found in the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Investigators learned an unidentified man was standing outside of the vehicle when he fired shots into the vehicle, police said.
