Near, Anthony Charles Saginaw Twp., Michigan Beloved father, son and brother passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. Age 27 years. Son of Jennifer Young and Anthony Near, Anthony was born September 19, 1988 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. Tony was employed a XALT Energy in Midland. He loved fishing, computers and video games. Surviving are his son, Joseph Ray Near; his mother, Jennifer Young; his father, Anthony and Kathy Near; five sisters and one brother, Katie Goodwin, Ryan Goodwin, Kelly (Scott) Near and their son Vincent, Nikki Young, Jamie Lee Young, Abigaille Near; his grandparents, Dale and Rita Near, Mary Gerow, Ralph and Barb Gerow, Gary and Carlene Goodenough, Connie Young; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Paul Hinz will officiate. Honoring Anthony's wishes cremation will follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
