A woman found dead in a home in Cleveland's North Broadway neighborhood was beaten to death, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

Tasha Kushner, 31, died of blunt force trauma, according to medical examiners. She was found dead about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at a house on Morton Avenue between Broadway Avenue and East 65th Street, Cleveland police said.

A resident told police that he arrived home to find the woman covered in blood on the floor. A stick was also found on the floor, dispatch logs say.

Paramedics told police that Kushner suffered "massive trauma" to the face, dispatch logs say.

Police planned to talk to one witness at the crime scene, dispatch logs say. Detectives were also seen speaking with neighbors shortly after Kushner's body was found.

No charges have been filed in the case and police have not announced any arrests.
