Dale passed away peacefully in his sleep at the young age of 52. Dale was born in Faulkton, South Dakota where he was raised with his brother and 4 sisters on his family farm. A graduate of the South Dakota State University - home of the Fighting Jackrabbits, Dale then moved to Seattle to start his successful sales career, where he met and married his wife, Diana in 1995. Dale and Diana settled in Alki for 5 years before moving to Bellevue to raise their children. Dale is survived by his wife of 23 years, Diana, and his 3 loving children, Ashley (19), Nick (17), and Sara (15). Dale is also survived by his parents, Joe and Corrine Bowar, his siblings Greg, Carol, Jane, Eileen, Laura, brother in law, Marcus (Amanda), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dale was always known for his quick wit and avid banter, always making us laugh at every opportunity, whether at himself or life. He was an amazing father, instilling great values in his children, and modeled all the values he held near and dear to his heart - a strong work ethic, honesty, integrity, responsibility, compassion, and passion. He also had a great sense of adventure, and always shared that with his kids and friends.
Dale was a beloved husband, an amazing father, a great friend, cherished brother and son and was unfortunately taken from us so suddenly. Dale would want us to celebrate his life, and so we ask that you join us for services:
Holy Rosary Catholic Church, West Seattle 3/22 at 11:00am, visitation at 10:30am. For further service info go www.flintofts.com.
