Larry Edward Kain was born on February 4, 1955 and lost his courageous battle with cancer on January 26, 2018 at 62 years old. He was born in Seattle and raised in Everett, WA. He attended Everett High and graduated in 1973. He served in the Air Force. He began his career in aerospace. While employed he had high security clearances and worked on Air Force One. Early in his career he traveled extensively, eventually working at Boeing for the last thirty years before retiring as a Senior Manager on the 777-flight line. He was able to finally move to Arizona which he had planned for years. Larry enjoyed many activities including playing guitar, camping, traveling, especially with family and friends. Larry's generosity, kind spirit, wit and sense of humor were known to all. He was always helping others, especially with anything that needed technical assistance and was known as our "MacGyver." He is survived by his loving wife, Nina; son, Jeremy (Kelly); grandchildren, Sandrea and Cody; brothers, Mark (Colleen) and Rick (Kathy); nephew, Todd and his daughter, Janelle, niece, Kelsey (David) and their sons, Alexander and Jonathan. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Oliver Kain, mother, Mavis and oldest brother, James. Services will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at 215 Mukilteo Boulevard in Everett on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Refreshments will be served immediately following the service in the church Commons. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Our Savior's Lutheran Church for the Holiday Food Baskets Ministry.
