A 25-year-old Rossmoor resident whose body washed ashore in San Pedro on Thursday died from drowning, according to Los Angeles County Coroner's records.
Haley Downen last had been seen about 5:15 p.m. June 23 on a shoreline trail between Royal Palms Beach and the Trump National Golf Course near San Pedro, Los Angeles police said.
Her body was pulled from the water at Royal Palms Beach.
According to online coroner records, Downen's death was determined to be an accident.
