Jodi Rebecca Bailey passed away peacefully at home on August 2nd, 2018 after a seven-year battle with ALS, (Lou Gehrig's Disease). She was surrounded by those she loved most in this world, leaving behind a husband and three handsome young men.

Shortly before her death, she expressed the following sentiment:

"Life has been a wonderful but temporary gift that I must soon return. Its hard to let go and say 'good-bye,' but I truly believe this separation will be temporary. I've been lucky to have a great family and friends surrounding and supporting me throughout my life.

The past seven years have been challenging. However, it is during this time that I've come to have an in-depth knowledge of and relationship with the Savior, Jesus Christ. He has been my rock through this journey, and I am thankful to be back in his presence.

My parting advice for those reading this obituary:

Enjoy every minute of life. It ends faster than you might think. Find time to ponder and meditate. Look for reasons to rejoice. Most importantly, know that you are loved by an eternal being who has your best interest at the center of His focus. Trust in that! It is true. I will see you soon… but hopefully not too soon."

Funeral Services for Jodi will be held Wednesday, August 8th, at 11:00 am, at the Garden 7th Ward, 1028 West 1000 North, Pleasant Grove, Utah, where a Visitation will be held prior from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Interment in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
