Logan Matthew Lahr Sr. passed on to his heavenly home with our Lord Jesus on Sunday, August 19, 2018, unexpectedly. Our hearts grieve his passing, but we celebrate his homecoming with those he loved that have passed on before.

Born on March 16, 1986, in Harrisburg PA, Logan was the son of Douglas and Cynthia (Lahr) Ingalls, Waterbury CT, and the late Donald Ellenberger. He attended Taylorsville High School, getting his GED in 2004. He was employed at Delta Air Cargo for 3 years moving up to the position of Duty manager. Previously he lived in Waterbury CT and worked for Krystal Kleer for 9 years as an installation and repair technician.

While in school, he participated and loved being part of the JROTC program, which helped him find his calling, and moving him to join the Army. Although his dream was cut short due to health issues, Logan continued to support all the military branches, and especially supported the Wounded Warrior projects and causes. He was also a very big supporter of March of Dimes in honor of his son, Logan Matthew Jr., who was born premature. Logan lived his life full of love for his children and his family. He was living in the city, but he never lost his love of the country life. He enjoyed taking the children fishing, to the movies, picnics, and sharing his unique blend of wisdom, usually distributed with quick wit and good for a laugh. He was quick to offer help to any who needed it and made friends easily with his good-natured attitude.

In addition to his parents, Logan is survived by his wife of 9 years, Rachel (Johnson) Lahr, and 4 beautiful children, Logan Jr., Lilly Marie, Colin-Alan, and Hailey Marie. He also has several half-sisters, Jessica Martin, Anna Adams, and Peggy Sue Ellenberger. He shared close relationships with his cousins, Tony Maldonado, SLC UT, and Angela Enders, Yolanda Mendez, Teresa Lebo all of Pennsylvania and their children as well. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harold and Essie Graybill, and paternal grandparents, Margaret Chubb and James Reiner, and a half-brother Donny as well.

Logan's family is asking that any donations be made to the Go Fund Me page to help with the burial expenses and any funds received over the cost will be put into savings for his children's needs. Here is the link for the page: https://www.gofundme.com/bhv6k5-funeral-expenses-for-logan
