Molly Joanna McKenzie, age 29, of Manchester, NH, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, August 3rd, 2018, succumbing to the grasp of a terrible illness claiming too many young lives in this country.

Molly was brought into this world on February 25th, 1989 in Burlington, VT., the beautiful daughter of Lisa and Michael McKenzie. She attended schools in Burlington, VT, Londonderry NH and St. Albans VT, graduating from Bellows Falls Academy in 2007.

Following high school, Molly joined the VT National Guard and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where she served in medical services. Upon her discharge from the Guard, Molly worked briefly as a trained nurse's assistant and held several positions in the food service industry.

She brought so much joy and kindness to everyone she met. Her infectious smile and loving heart drew people to her. From a very young age, Molly had a soft spot for the elderly, which continued into adulthood. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her deeply. Molly leaves behind her precious daughter, Emma Lynn Flanders, parents: Lisa and her husband Stephen Rogers and Michael and his wife Joan McKenzie, brothers: Will McKenzie and Padraic and his wife Gabi McKenzie, as well as several Aunts and Uncles, cousins and many friends.

A Private memorial service will be held in Vermont at a later date. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to pay tribute to Molly's memory, may contribute to the Department of Veteran Affairs, to assist veterans battling emotional and substance abuse issues.

The Carrier Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH, has care of Molly's arrangements.
