Kandice Lynn Nickerson
Kandice Lynn Nickerson, a resident of Dallas, Oregon died on Monday, October 29th in Dallas. She was born on October 13, 1973 in Vallejo, California the daughter of Bill and Kathi Bodie Hampton. Kandice grew up in a Naval family, and as her father was stationed throughout the United States they lived in many different areas. Kandice graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1991. She married David Turley in 1992. They had two daughters, Victoria and Kearsten. Kandice later moved to Connecticut and met her future husband Sean Nickerson. They were married on July 6, 2001 in Nevada. They have a daughter Maria and a son Sean Jr. together. They settled in Dallas, Oregon in 2008. Kandice worked at Postal Connections from 2008 until 2012. She also volunteered at Santiam Christian in the elementary school library for several years. Kandice was a huge Star Wars fan. She liked Chewbacca and named her Yorkie-Poo Chewey. Kandice attended Evangelical Bible Church in Dallas.

She is survived by her husband, Sean, children, Victoria (Evan) Weston, Kearsten Turley, Maria Nickerson, and Sean Nickerson Jr. granddaughter, Lucy Weston, father, Bill Hampton Sr, brothers, Lance and Bill Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 2nd at 4:00PM at the Evangelical Bible Church in Dallas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mid-Valley Suicide Prevention Coalition or Friends of the Dallas Library in care of Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center who is caring for the family.
