Caroline Umathum, 69, of Vancouver, Washington, died after a fierce but short fight with Ovarian Cancer on Oct. 9th, 2018.
She studied at Marylhurst University and worked as counselor for many years. Dedicated to a person's whole health and wellness, she went on and earned her Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Caroline touched many lives and her gifted healing and counsel will be missed by many in the community.
Caroline was a devoted mother to Camara Banfield and John Bauman, and grandmother to Tyler Barton, Revac Banfield and Olivia Banfield. She is also survived by her siblings, Joe Werden and Wendy Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ralph Jones; and her loving husband, Scott Umathum.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Fri., Nov. 9th at the Water Resource Center, 4600 SE Columbia Way, Vancouver, Washington, 98661 from 2 to 4p.m.
