Authorities have released the name of the man found dead in the Oblong Park early yesterday morning. According to Crawford County Coroner, Earl Deckard, 40 year old Charles Mick, Jr. died of an apparent suicide. Authorities reported finding the body of Mick, Jr. in the Oblong park yesterday morning around 1:36am. The Oblong Police Department, Crawford County Sheriffs Office, Illinois State Police, and the Crawford County Coroner's Office handled the investigation.
