Bluffdale, Utah—Troy Jon Breur, age 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends in his Bluffdale home on December 3, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Troy was a dedicated husband, father, uncle and friend to many. He loved spending time with his family on many trips abroad and in Utah's mountains, lakes, and deserts. Troy loved to hunt and fish and was an accomplished woodworker. Troy loved to go to his kids and nephew's baseball, lacrosse, football and any other sports activities that were going on. Troy helped coach Wesley's baseball, Abi's lacrosse, and was involved in Megan's dance. Troy graduated from Cottonwood High school and attended the University of Utah. Troy is survived by his wife, Melanie and his children: Megan Harris (Cameron), Wesley, and Abigail.
A viewing will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., Murray. There will also be a viewing Saturday, December 8th, from 9:45-10:45 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 11 a.m. at the Winder 3rd Ward, 4551 S. 1200 E., Salt Lake City.
