Obituary for Stephan Jack Valo
Stephan Jack "Steve" Valo went home to be with our Lord on March 21, 2019 at the young age of 41.

Steve was born in Austin, Texas on January 15, 1978 to Lynne Denton Rodriguez and Tibor Francis Valo. He attended Brewer High School where he played football proudly. Steve attended Iowa Wesleyan from 1996 - 1997 where he played nose guard. He transferred to Northwestern State Oklahoma from 1997-1998.

In 2000, he joined the United States Army where he met the mother of his daughters, Jennifer Myers. After serving tours in Korea and Jordan in Air Defense Artillery as a Patriot Missile Technician and proudly serving this country that he loved, he was honorably discharged after four years at the rank of Specialist. This was shortly after the birth of his first daughter Kelsey. Steve became a proud father of his second daughter Kaylin after they moved back to Fort Worth.

Steve worked for the United States Postal Services. He enjoyed hanging out with the guys, fishing, football, making other people laugh, and being a Mason. He was devoted to his girls, coaching softball, and watching them playing their sports. He was proud to be their dad.

Steve was preceded in death by his grandpa, Jack Denton and his cousin, James (JK) Denton.

He is survived by his beautiful daughters Kelsey and Kaylin Valo; mother, Lynne Rodriguez and husband, Joe; grandmother, June Denton; sisters, Jennifer West and husband, Michael, Laura Traweek, Patricia Maxey and husband, Malcolm, and Elizabeth Sanchez and husband, Andrew. He also has a brother, John Rodriguez and wife, Chamagne; three nieces, four nephews, three cousins; best friend, Nick Arnold; and multiple life long friends.
