An early morning accident killed a 28 year old Waterloo woman Wednesday. It happened on Route 158 and Centerville Road near Columbia. This is not the first time her family or co-workers have dealt with this type of tragedy.

"Coming to work on a Friday night and not seeing Jessica it would be like coming to work without wearing my uniform," says hostess Megan Carter, "there is something that is not going to be right."

People came to Tequila Mexican Restaurant on Baumgartner for the food, margarita specials...and many came for the bubbly bartender serving both.

"A lot a lot people talk about oh margaritas margaritas the come to see her how friendly and how nice she was," says Manager Jose Hernandez, "I dont want to believe it."

28-year-old Jessica Koen was driving along 158 and ran off the road near centreville raod. She was pronounced dead at the scene. how it happened remains under investigation, who it happened to is still hard to handle where she was much more than an employee.

"She was irreplaceable and definitely part of the Tequila family," says hostess Ally Turner.

"She is one of those people really upbeat just could not have a bad day," adds Carter, "she was always so happy and into her job." On Facebook, customers mourned her passing, those we talked with say, sure they came for the food and drink but it was always better with Jessica there. She started working here five years ago and was valued as an employee sure but she will be missed as a friend say those whose shifts were made much better by someone much more than a bartender.

"She is going to be irreplaceable," says Hernandez, "I cannot find anyone else like her that for sure."
